I am a native Saugonian (1943 - 1963), and have always believed that Round Hill, in the Center, is the hill that is depicted on the Town Seal.  If this is so, why is it that Round Hill is now obliterated from view by a forest?

Secondly, what kind of geological formation, exactly, is Round Hill?  If not of geological origin, is it possibly an "Indian mound"?
